Demiurge Misconceptions and Deckbuilding

So uh, Demiurge support came and there's been a good amount of talk about it.

I couldn't believe all the things people were saying.

There was so much wrong with the Demiurge advice people were giving... I'm making it my job to fix all of those misconceptions.

Let's begin.

Card Review: Beyond Order Dragon

Hey, my fellow Sneks! After neglecting this place for awhile, decided to write about something.

And it so happens that Beyond Order was revealed, so here's my thoughts on him.

In a vacuum, Beyond Order is a great card. CB1 SB1 to restand him and have an extra main phase to build a fresh new board is really awesome. Lets you continue combos and is an overall great finisher.

The issues come to play with the rest of his cost: Bind the Top 8 cards of your deck.

While it seems like it's a very minor cost that can easily be paid, it has huge repercussions and can backfire like no other.

Card Review: The New Ulurus!

Hey, my fellow Sneks!

A couple days ago the new Uluru heal trigge and G-Guardian from Fighter's Collection 2017 and being the first Gear Chronicle cards to be revealed after the creation of this blog, I felt like I should start up a Card Reviews series of posts.

First up is Time-carving Maiden, Uluru. Other than being a foil version of #bestheal and instant four of run in anything not Zodiacs her skill is pretty nice and fits the GC theme of returning cards to deck. Not too shabby, but is the GGuardian worth running alongside it? I say definitely.
Far Away Time Maiden, Uluru is really, really good for what it does. CB1 and get +5000 shield for every face up card in the GZone? In a deck that is able to Turbo flip through the GZone? Yes. Just yes. It's so amazing and helps to conserve cards in hand, especially with Giles and PBDiablo running rampant in the meta. While it won't be a huge slot taker, since Heteroround+Gearcat can fulfill the same job in a way, it definitely needs to take a slot in any Gear Chroncile deck.

That's my views on the new Ulurus and really hypes me up for the Beyond Order review that will come soon!

See you guys in the next one!

Introduction: Zodiac Time Beasts

Zodiac Time Beasts are the newest feature in Gear Chronicle, featuring units with Dual Race. They're
designed around the Lunar Calendar Zodiac, if that wasn't blatantly obvious.

On release, Zodiac Time Beasts were immediately compared to Chronojet Time Leap builds and deemed as worthlessand inferior in comparison, when they really shouldn't be compared at all. While Time Leap is played as a multi-attack deck, Zodiacs are built around field scalability and power columns. What Zodiac lacks in multi attack power they make up for it, to an extent, with their very strong field scalability and ability to make 21-26k Columns with virtually zero effort.

Introduction: Time Leap

Time Leap, most well known by the name of "Cancer", is the latest mechanic added to Gear Chronicle's already large array of skills. It's a very, very good skill that has quite a bit of uses. It's gotten very good support over the sets and as of now Time Leap variants are the top deck. Time Leap's gotten a lot of hate cus of it, so if you don't mind having a target on your back and have a big wallet Time Leap is for you.

Welcome to Sneklords!

Hey guys. Welcome to my new blog about Gear Chronicle.

So about me. My name's Robot Victor Chang. You might know me if you visit Budgetfight Vanguard or are part of the Wiki. I've been playing the game now for much of it's existence and have been a Gear Chronicle main of all kinds since it's release back in February of 2015. I've had a solid amount of blogging experience over at Budgetfight Vanguard and, while I can't back myself up with any tops or other accolades, I can be backed by a good amount of the wiki that I know what I'm talking about.

Now onto Gear Chronicle. I love the clan. Always have. Always will. The aesthetic and the gameplay always felt so enjoyable. It's a very hated clan at the moment for being so powerful and dominant clan. It gets very annoying when people tell me that "Jet is the only build that exists" and that "no other deck is worth playing". Honestly, there's so many unexplored areas in Gears, despite Jet receiving all the main support. Jet's a great deck and eats up at the limelight, but there's more to Gears than just that.

There's a couple of reasons why I'm making this blog. First, as a personal archive to keep all the things I know about Gear Chronicle in one place. Second, my friends were getting annoyed at me for just always talking about Gear Chronicle and clogging up the Discord server.

So yeah.

On Sneklords, I'm planning on writing about Gear Chronicle, periodically writing about different kinds of Gear Chronicle decks as well as updating them and talking about how to play them. In addition, since not everyone plays Gear Chronicle and I know some people just really hate the clan, I want to write about general Game Theory as well, talking about the mechanics behind the game and how to improve.

Anyhow, welcome to Sneklords!
