Bushiroad the madmen.
Much to my joy, Bushiroad has decided to throw me a bone and pass us what looks to be Gear Chronicle’s first VR in Standard play. I’m sure everyone’s seen it at this point, but just in case I’ll link it here.
As the first of our Standard Gears cards revealed, Lost Legend is all we have to base any predictions or theories, but thankfully he gives us a lot to chew on.

Card Review: Chronovisor Heritage
OHMYGODITHAPPENEDGEARCHRONICLEFINALLYGOTAVIABLETURNRESETICANFINALLYFULFILLMYTIMEMASTERCHUUNIDREAMSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Sorry about that.
Onto the newly revealed card itself.
[AUTO]:[Choose four other face up <Zodiac Time Beast> from your G zone, and turn them face down] When this unit is put into your G zone from (VC), you may pay the cost. If you do, you get an additional turn. Skip the ride phase of the additional turn, and Stride this card on (VC) at the beginning of the main phase.
An actually strong Turn Reset. Bushi, why have you blessed me like this?

Card Review: Chronojet Dragon Z
So we now have a new Chronojet, donning his fresh new white paintjob and ready to fight.
His skill reads:
[CONT](VC):The cost of your Stride may also be paid with "Choose a grade 3 <Zodiac Time Beast> from your drop zone, and bind it face up.".
[AUTO](VC):[Soul Blast (1)] When your G unit Stride, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to one of any player's rear-guard, and put it on the bottom of the deck. If a card was put, search your deck for up to one <Zodiac Time Beast> with grade+1 than the card put into the deck with this effect, call it to (RC), and shuffle your deck.
Astounding, isn't it? Now for a quick breakdown.
The first skill is a free stride skill. Needless to say, free stride is a very powerful tool that any deck would love. On top of that, Jet Z is arguably the easiest to get online in the very early stages of the game. Grade 3 Zodiac in drop? Really easy. Just call down a fodder, tutor out Jet Z, and ditch the other Zodiac you had in hand. Drop zone's setup, a unit's fielded for early aggro, deck is thinned by a grand total of one, and you've tutored out your main ride.

Card Review: Chronodragon GearNEXT
Our newest Chronodragon with a funny name has been revealed, skill and all, though I do have to say I'm a bit 50/50 on it though.
Chronodragon GearNEXT has the following skill:
[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[ACT](VC)[1/Turn] Generation Break 2:[Soul Blast (1) & Choose a face down card from your G zone with the same card name as this unit, and turn it face up] This unit gets "[AUTO](VC)[1/Turn]:At the end of the battle that this unit attacked, if you have a <Gear Dragon> heart card, reveal up to three <Zodiac Time Beast> from your hand or (RC) in total, and put them on the bottom of your deck in any order. If you put three cards, [Stand] this unit, and it gets drive-2."
[CONT](VC) Generation Break 4:During this unit's second battle, it gets [Power]+10000/Drive+1.
Just looking it over, GearNEXT at best is essentially a Spectral "Diablo" with 5 drive checks total, rather than 4, with a lesser counterblast cost. I'm quite sure that everyone is in agreement that it is a very good card, so I'm just gonna skip over to the biggest issue that plagues the card...
It's just not as good as Nextage.

Card Review: Chronotiger Gear Glare
Rejoice, for our lord and savior Chronofang has appeared!
Alright, so our hyped up Chronofang boss unit is here! And he's... RR? I was expecting a RRR or something, considering he's Chronofang and all.
But as we all know, rarity never equals card quality cough Dragdriver cough Black Fenrir cough so let's move on.
Now for what he does:
[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[ACT](VC)[1/Turn]:[Soul Blast (1) & Choose a face down card from your G zone with the same card name as this unit, and turn it face up] If you have a <Gear Beast> heart card, choose any number of your opponent's rear-guards with the sum of their grades being less than or equal to the number of cards in your bind zone, and your opponent puts them on the bottom of his or her deck in any order.
[CONT](VC) Generation Break 3:If the number of cards in your bind zone is five or more, this unit gets [Power]+10000, then, if it is seven or more, it gets [Critical]+1, then, if it is nine or more, it gets drive+1.
First comment I would like to make is that he is extreme quality for a RR. Even if you don't think he's that great, just look at the quality of it.

Card Review: Beyond Order Dragon
Hey, my fellow Sneks! After neglecting this place for awhile, decided to write about something.
And it so happens that Beyond Order was revealed, so here's my thoughts on him.
In a vacuum, Beyond Order is a great card. CB1 SB1 to restand him and have an extra main phase to build a fresh new board is really awesome. Lets you continue combos and is an overall great finisher.
The issues come to play with the rest of his cost: Bind the Top 8 cards of your deck.
While it seems like it's a very minor cost that can easily be paid, it has huge repercussions and can backfire like no other.

Card Review: The New Ulurus!
Hey, my fellow Sneks!
A couple days ago the new Uluru heal trigge and G-Guardian from Fighter's Collection 2017 and being the first Gear Chronicle cards to be revealed after the creation of this blog, I felt like I should start up a Card Reviews series of posts.
First up is Time-carving Maiden, Uluru. Other than being a foil version of #bestheal and instant four of run in anything not Zodiacs her skill is pretty nice and fits the GC theme of returning cards to deck. Not too shabby, but is the GGuardian worth running alongside it? I say definitely.
Far Away Time Maiden, Uluru is really, really good for what it does. CB1 and get +5000 shield for every face up card in the GZone? In a deck that is able to Turbo flip through the GZone? Yes. Just yes. It's so amazing and helps to conserve cards in hand, especially with Giles and PBDiablo running rampant in the meta. While it won't be a huge slot taker, since Heteroround+Gearcat can fulfill the same job in a way, it definitely needs to take a slot in any Gear Chroncile deck.
That's my views on the new Ulurus and really hypes me up for the Beyond Order review that will come soon!
See you guys in the next one!
